The common sense of the mass of the 'People'.

It was Thomas Jefferson who said :-

"Educate and inform the whole mass of the people ..........they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty"

An informed public is the very antipathy of epistocracy.

The trouble is on so many things those that govern us take us for fools and assume we are uneducated and only they have the answers.

It is time the 'People' demanded real power so that what they want happens leaving our politicians in no doubt they are our servants and not our masters.

  1. I agree with you but will just say that people are still voting for establishment parties who have proven themselves to be at war with the people.

  2. The trouble is if you want to vote, and many now don't bother, you can really only vote for what's on offer.

    1. Far too much of our education system is suffering from lack of discipline and poor teaching methods rather than a lack of money.I believe the majority of parents know this even if you don't.
